Were these meetings red flags or something that I should have forgotten?
I'm still trying to get over my ex, I left in February after less two and a half months of dating. Things moved very fast and after a vacation together, I discovered that he had no credit card no deposit direct, had his mobile service restricted after forgetting to pay the bill twice, and was driving on out-of-state tags that were expired 4 years. I thought these (and others will not mention) were red flags, he bought 2 more battle lines totaling almost $ 200 and a 50 in plasma TV, of course, despite considerable debt (since he has no credit card). He talked about me living with him only 3 days after we met face to face. It piggybacks off your next-door neighbors Internet wireless after the buy a router. He made me buy it in a Xmas present shopping. I took a bus to visit him more often than he spoke to me (it was a long distance and so we saw only on weekends). This guy was bad news or that I should have just accepted these failures and kept my mouth shut?
Definitely some big red flags, unless you want to become your mother sugar! There are standards of behavior and lifestyle that each member, worthy of civilized society should try to comply, and be financially responsible is one of them.
