Problem with my 42 in plasma TV LG?
I had my TV for about a year now and I see a lot of flashing red spots when the screen is black … as if someone on a TV show wearing a black shirt and dark i see a lot of red spots … is this normal? its done this now for a few months .. i got it from and pay no extra for security .. . If there is a problem is that I fix or they will have to give me a new TV? kinda hope has repair so I can get a newer version than I have
Need more information. They are stationary or red dots do not move with it? It could be the burn-in, but I doubt it. One thing to try would be instead of static, you know, white and black "fuzzies". Leave it on this at least 4-5 hours and see if that fixes the problem. If not contact the security department of the store and ask for a service call. Often they replace the unit is not a defect in the screen itself, since they cost more to replace the part than the TV itself.
