LED TV or Plasma, which is better?
I saw the new Samsung LED TVs and they are quite impressive. I heard plasma tv versus vs thing led to LCD last two years, plasma has always voted to be the best of three. But after seeing LEDTVs Samsung, I "d probably reconsider this point. The Samsung LED tv the best of the best in terms of picture quality now? well I'm not talking about LCD, I'm talking about LED – slight difference. But not just any LED, but the new series TVs Samsung LED 6,7,8.
In terms of image quality, LED and Plasma are almost same! However, LED's are an LCD TV and are flawed LCD's inherent … response time and refresh rate! Plasma response times are nearly instantaneous (.001 ms) and their refresh rates are 600hz now! LED LCD response times of 2ms is the best, with refresh rates of 240Hz! This means TV, Plasma still has the upper hand in quality pic … especially with fast moving content like sports, movies and games! Not to mention … plasma are much, much cheaper then LED's! Moreover, the power LED are much more efficient than LCD! About 40% less energy than standard LCD and Plasma! Whether or not this advantage is worth paying this a wallet busting price is up to the consumer! Me, personally, I love my Panasonic Plasma and not trade it for an LCD any day … and that includes LED LCD's!
