I can not get TV channels (Australia) Through My Video Player With My Big antenna?
I live in Australia and only connected to my old analog TV Samsung to my great whcich antenna picks up everything on my plasma. If I go on TV I get all channels, except ten, but when I go through the video player (which I need to record), it's all blurry and incomprehensible. But only when I move the video player. Why is this and how do I fix this? My TV model no. is the TV-4881. The SVC model no. is TV48816X/XSA. My number of video player is model SV-24013. Please help.
Well, you'll never be able to fix the video player …. You see, the video player was developed years ago, when the old 480i TV sets were used. The funny is that players Video could never keep up with 480, because it would take ungodly amounts of tape up to 480 lines of resolution, so that cut the number of lines they recorded. They supported him for about 320 lines of picture and then used a process of filling between the lines. That's why you get such a bad picture … You have to buy a TIVO or possibly use a DVD recorder to the recording process. The disadvantage is that only works to turn off the low setting. When this happens, and you want to record, you will be forced to get a cable or satellite with a DVR built into the box. The good news is that the DVR will easier to setup recordings, and it will record both Hi Def and Low Def signals very clearly …. So maybe it's time to switch to satellite huh?
