How do I connect my PC to my Plasma TV?
Hi, I have looked everywhere and found nothing .. so I am asking here. I have a Sony Vaio VGN-LS20E I'm trying to connect to my new plasma TV. The plasma has a VGA input point and place to svideo and HDMI inputs. However .. my computer has no slot VGA 15 pin, no DVI slot, and S-Video just didn't work … my plasma has a PC "in" where you connect a VGA TV to PC, but as I said, my PC has a slot VGA. How can I do this, I'm Going Nuts! Are there any special cable that I can use the VGA to my TV to a USB port on my computer or something? Help PLZ! Thanks … Additional details My Computer is an ALL-IN-ONE to the computer monitor. My computer is not yet a year old. It has a slot for the red / yellow / white cables and an s-video in the back, but when I connect them to the plasma does nothing. DMB John if you read the first line, I made my state computer model …
Unfortunately, it seems that Sony decided not any method of getting video from your computer easily. So, therefore, can not be easily connected to an external display device (such as your plasma panel). The S-Video port, according to the manual for your computer model, is a port of entry and not an output port. This leaves you with this option (which I have been able to find): * Assuming that your Vaio supports USB 2.0, buy a USB Video Card: http://www.usbgear.com/USB-Video-Card.html "Features: … may be as primary, extended or mirror the main screen of the system …" this USB video card set to 'Mirror of Primary 'will give you a VGA output you can connect to your Plasma. This should mirror what you see on the output of its Vaio luck. Good
