I bought Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV shortly after it was first available from Amazon upgrading my older Phillips 55 "rear projection 1080i capable TV. I own it now for a month. I used it with (not base-HD) cable, basic Tivo viewing (again, non-HD), upscaled DVD viewing, HD-DVD viewing, and watching blue-ray. And I have paired with a 3000 Yamaha Soundbar. My entertainment watching has never been better than now.
Before you buy Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV, How much people looking for the best TV I did a lot of research before dropping that kind of money on a new TV and possibly down to the Samsung TV as well as many people or of XBRs Sony. IMO these are really the only competitive mid-range/high end flat panel displays to consider before buying. Due to the burn in issue (other than is as bad as it was in earlier generation Plasmas) I never considered a plasma TV, but they are actually a little cheaper, and often they also have at least one image as good as LCD TVs.
As you may have read out the premium of several hundred dollars for the Sony brand, the main difference is that the Samsungs have a screen especially brilliant in high light rooms there may be some reflection compared with the matte XBR screens. I usually can control the light levels during the time that I'm viewing the TV to the vibration of the Samsung in mid / low light conditions made the choice easier.
At the beginning and before you buy Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV that I was going to go with a 4671f to seeing the "new model 46A650" and then decided get the new version instead. There have been improvements in visual quality, obviously with the movement with the tracking technology of second generation, which goes a long way to eliminate confusion and duplication of object (TBE or the "triple ball effect").

This is to be expected with something like "Planet Earth" film that is built around its lush visual, even in non-HD, but even some scenes in movies I would not consider prime HD material I am often very impressed completely (there are some garden scenes in "Walk Hard", which are highly eye-popping!).
Finally, in my living room TV, I have three points where people watch television from. With many LCDs darkens the screen and the vitality of the colors to bleed down if you get too far from the center. But with this LCD, which is not a problem at all.
* PHYSICAL *
I was a little suspicious on the "Touch of Color" Samsung's LN46A650 LCD TV, but in a dark room is not as intrusive, because it disappears quickly to deep red that looks black, low illumination. I certainly think the red highlight actually looks really cool! It is much more pleasing to my eyes then just a simple silver or black.
There are plenty of inputs for HDMI and any other connection type you can think about the end of the TV hardware. I have a complete set of components and all the chips on one thing and works well.
All I can say honestly and with certainty is that I am very pleased with this Samsung LCD TV LN46A650 I can not describe, because it offers more fantastic than what I just described here! Physically he looks really impressive, visually is one of best out there, you can always find
