red and blue lines on plasma screen?
I recently bought a plasma TV 42 inches. It's an Insignia (I think it is a Best Buy house brand) I wanted, of course a decent TV without spending a ton of money for a brand … anyway, recently I have seen the blue and red lines in the middle of the screen, they are only there for some time and not go all the way from top to bottom, the lines are about 6-8 inches long. I'm thinking of calling the store tomorrow, but was hoping someone had some insight for me. Thanks in advance!
Loose ribbon cable or the noisy driver IC card interface (s) could cause these problems …. If TV is less than 15 days old, you can return the TV and remote control in original package and get a return, but you should have everything that came with it in a polystyrene box and a lot ….. IF you do not have it, they usually return what you give back … and, possibly, they charge a fee for not bringing it all back …. After 15 days …. you should get it serviced by an authorized Insignia …. good luck in finding one of these guys …..
