It just occurred to me. If someone spends most of the day at work, then comes home, eats, showers, changes and heads out for an evening event social, then there is really no time when all work in the home. Weekends are devoted to sports, travel and living further and more since leaving no time for housework.
Bring dishes and have to take a feeding pool. Dishwashers ensure knives, forks and plates are kept clean. Washer and dryer, combined with regular trips to the dry cleaning, clothing is always clean. The only the real thing missing right now is to keep the house clean.
Robot vacuum cleaners are relatively new inventions, but they are quite amazing. You can set them on a timer and a loading dock, which in turn allows them to go out and clean often less regular in areas pre-defined, then return to their docks to charge their batteries for back-up. The only thing you have to do is move them from room to room and empty the container where all the dust is collected.
Although not the cheapest gadgets, these robotic helpers are far from being prohibitive in terms of price.
