How can I prevent the interference of RF Plasma TV with my Bose Lifestyle 30 remote?
I have a Bose Lifestyle 30 sound system that I have connected to my plasma Panasonic TV. When I turn on the TV, the Bose remote (which is an RF remote) only works if I take the remote control to within 2 inches of the receiver. However, if I turn off the TV, the Bose remote works all my house. I'm not sure if there is some kind of RF interference from my plasma tv that is interfering with the signal Bose. Another strange thing is that this only happened after I had mounted on the wall to my TV (which I did about four days ago). Until then, I had the TV on the floor and receiver Bose was directly behind the TV and it worked perfectly well! I tried using Ferrite Chokes, I tried to change the remote code for my Bose system and also replaced batteries in my remote – but to no avail. If anyone knows anything about what could cause this interference, please let me know. Thanksssss advance!
See if there is a way to change the frequency of your remote control, and check the cables as you can to make sure your armor is not worn. If you find point of spinning tape or replace the use of wire. Try it out. Good luck!
