Help me decide what TV should I get?
Hey all. I am looking for a new TV for my room. I narrowed it down to a couple of TV. They are All Samsung LCD monitors because I believe that the Samsung brand quality is really high, with great products. My brother has a Samsung 40 "Plasma HDTV and looks great power to watch movies and games. I want to go with LCD's because they have such a crisp, bright awesome kinda cheaper than plasmas. Anyway here are the LCD's: Samsung 32 "1080p LCD (Mo # LN32A650) (Series 6) Samsung 40" 1080p LCD (Mo # LN40A550) (Series 5) Now the 6 Series has a relationship Dynamic Contrast 50,000:1, Response Time 4ms, 120Hz technology and an image interpolation. Series 5 has a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1, Response Time 5 ms, and 60. The prices are almost the same as amazon.com (near meaning, such as difference of $ 100 or more). So should I go to the smaller LCD smoother response for games and movies or should I go to a bigger TV, because its larger size. I have a room the size 12×12. Thanks
Given the small size your room, assuming you will be sitting maybe six feet from the screen, I would choose the 32 "Samsung because it has a better dynamic contrast ratio, response time faster and faster (less rate) off with blurred image interpolation. However, any Samsung is a good choice in my opinion. Technology that they are really solid at a competitive price.
