Plasma TV: Samsung and Panaonic?
I am a TV debate that the the two following the purchase. Panasonic TH-50PZ85U 50 "Samsung PN50A550 50" When I went to Best Buy and compared them, that's what I saw: The primary colors for Samsung was surprising, but the Panasonic looked sharper and had more than one detail outlining quality. Pictures of the Samsung that was purple appeared dark blue or dark on the Panasonic. This shows that the colors of the Samsung has a better base, but the Panasonic was more pronounced because of quality high levels of black and contours. Does anyone have a suggestion or experience with which is better? If so, why? Thank you all ahead of time for answers.
I have the Panasonic TH-50. I can only say that I was happy with it. I would not be happy with a blurry picture, if I had one, but I do not know if necessarily the colors were off unless I had a series of screens to compare and know the colors of the objects being photographed. You may want to try setting the games in store for you you can compare color reproduction extreme. In other words, try adjusting the colors to the point where the black is really black and white is really white both sets. Next, choose other colors you like best. Having said this I would put more weight on sharpness.
