I need help choosing a plasma TV?

I'm going to buy plasma TV. Panisonic has a new model with 600hz, is that something that is worthwhile or necessary? There Panisonic other plasmas at higher prices which only has a refresh rate 60 hz. Please help, suggestions?

Panasonic uses 600 Hz sub-unit field in all its new 2009 plasma TVs, just look at the last item in their specification pages for the 2009 model. The http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Televisions/Plasma-TVs.list.75003_11002_7000000000000005702 600 Hz sub-field unit helps plasma TV manufacturers control manufacturing and repair costs do not benefit the image quality. PS 2009 LG and Samsung plasmas operating at 600 Hz as well. The new C1 series have a resolution of 720p, 15,000:1 Native Contrast Ratio and 600 Hz sub-unit area. The new series X1 has a resolution 720p, 30,000:1 Native Contrast Ratio (better black levels) and 600 Hz sub-unit area. The new series U1 have a resolution of 1080p, 20,000:1 Native Contrast Ratio and 600 Hz sub-unit area. The new series S1 has a resolution of 1080p, 40,000:1 Native Contrast Ratio (better black levels) and 600 Hz sub-field unit. The new G10 series have a resolution of 1080p, 40,000:1 Native Contrast Ratio (better black levels), 600 Hz sub-field drive and add the Viera Cast & THX mode color calibration. Pioneer left the TV market and will not do any more TV. Over time, parts and service will become a major problem for those buy plasma TVs from Pioneer. I heard that Pioneer engineers joined Panasonic. LCD TVs use 120 Hz, because they are trying to reduce the blur of motion and instability; artifacts that are a natural result of the limitations of LCD technology (NOT because very slow refresh, but because their response time is very slow). TVs NO 120Hz need to remove these artifacts, because they do not produce motion blur and jitter movement as an LCD TV. Plasma technology, such as switches at least 2,000 times faster that the response time of LCD. Finally, Samsung is building a nice plasma TV, but still suffer from burn-in. I personally have experienced burn-in at the 2008 Samsung A450, A550 and A650 series plasma in our store. The risk is higher in the first 2 – 500 hours of use. You must keep the brightness and contrast down and keep your TV pictures and track moving on these TVs. I saw the same problem in 2009 the number of LG plasma C30. Under the conditions exactly the same, I had no burn-in in 2008 or 2009 (X1 & serial S1) the plasma models from Panasonic.
