Can I use a 1080i plasma tv for my PS3?
If I buy a 42 '1080i Panasonic HD Plasma TV picture is my PS3 look as good as a1080p, or next to it. or should I spend the extra money and buy a 1080p? if I go with a 1080i how long will it be before this TV is obsolete.
the PS3 is designed to work in both formats (1080i and 1080p), but unless you are extremely critical of its image quality, then I would not mind shelling out an extra set of 1080p is not really much to tell between the two and as a whole is a Panny (one of the best sets available) I would worry much less about it. as one of the other posters say how long you use an HDMI cable, you should not encounter any problems. what about your TV becoming obselete not about it, you will not get your money's worth much before that happens.
