Eat your pets, save the planet; What's next, are these people going crazy?
It is found that double-sized dog medium has a carbon "pawprint" equal to that of about two Toyota Land Cruisers. A cat has almost the same environmental impact as a Volkswagen Golf, and two hamsters somewhat like a plasma TV. Http: / / www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/nov/05/eat-your-pets-save-the- planet /
Not that I would be in favor of eating "cute" but technically they are a true statement. All you need to eat to live produces a carbon footprint of some size or another. Since the production of meat (especially north-farms Style) is very harmful to the planet, something else eats meat, worse, its environmental impact. Hence the reason why many argue for vegetarianism. Personally, I'll have a steak once in a while, but you'd be surprised how delicious vegetarian food can be fully. Pringles, the problem is not that global warming does not occur naturally. The problem is that we have entered a phase of global cooling of about 50 years ago, and instead, we have seen temperature increase at a rate a little scary (considered an increase in average temperature of five degrees around the planet would end with a frighteningly large percentage range Wildlife.)
