plasma tv myths
Plasma Recharge / Cost and facts?

Ok I just bought a 50 "Plasma TV screem, looks great in my room and technology ace, but the time to separate the myths and facts 1) I heard you have to fill the gas true or false because some people argue the gas can only burn so your fake 2) Plasma have about 60,000 hours of life (27yrs use of 6hrs a day) or 7 years of continuous use 24 hours per day (which is probably your life adverage TV anyway 3) Looking at "How Stuff Works "website that uses proton and a reaction with the gas to generate light, so it would be that you need to recharge, like any chemical reaction disappears 4) What is the value you need to replenish refill, I was lucky and got my tv for £ 850 reduced from £ 1150 in beating Digital 5) provide website links to information facts otherwise your opinion is ignored, since it is only your opinion and not a fact (that prolonging a myth) Thanks

1) There no way to replace the gas plasma. 2) The manufacturers provide 60,000 hrs. There was not enough time to compare actual reliability data against this prediction. 3) The light is produced in the same way as fluorescent lamps. Over time, the cells will be weaker. 4) You can not refill the set yet is working when the brightness decreased to a point unacceptable TV is discxarded, the panel is very expensive to replace versus the cost of a new set. 5) See links below. http://www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com/lcdtv-http: / / bestbuy-cnet.com.com/4351-12658_7-6583301.html plasmavslcd.shtml
