Will mount a plasma TV over a brick fireplce cause any damage to the tv? As the heat of the bricks?
it will probably be rarely used, but still so it is safe, if it was ever used?
I would not worry much about the heat as the smoke particles. At the top of the chimney is still too high for comfortable viewing. The TV should be about eye level.
