LCD or Plasma TV (HD TV) help please?
Hello, my question is what TV is best? I want a TV that will be a surprise for my Xbox 360 and my films, but I still want my base and HD shows on television to look phenominal. I'm looking at about 30 "TV. I've seen some flat panels Wal-Mart and some god-awful look and a flawless appearance. I heard Sony's are terrible, for some reason. I hear the LG are the best. My friend has one 55 "Samsung plasma that is beautiful. Thank you SO MUCH
If you want a 30 "TV you will not find one. Nearest available is a 32 "HDTV. However, where the size, there are plasmas. There are only LCD's that size. The LCD is cheaper and probably better for the game since you know that there is no chance of any image retention, which can get a Plasma, eventhough it is not really a big deal. Anyway, back point. An LCD will have a little grayer looking blacks, than a plasma or an LCD, a cheaper 32 "LCD will have a bit of motion blur, but nothing too bad. Finally, you have no choice but to go with an LCD of that size anyway, so really your question has been answered by the market. Just do not cheap out and get a Vizio, step up to a Samsung or Sony, you'll thank yourself.
