What's the best plasma or LCD and why?
I want to buy a flat screen TV, great. What are the pros and cons of Plasma TV and LCD TV?
Hi, I have been doing research on n Plasma TVs LCD for over a year. And for the whole year, I've read "The video, a magazine HDTV more than 25 years of reviewing India TV world, is has its own unique laboratory equipment to test the specification of truth in almost all models HDTV that are for sale. Seriously I have seen the growth of technology in both LCD n plasma, as well as plenty of professional reviews on many HDTVs. Therefore, I would like to remind you that u never trust a Saleman recommended as they usually recommends to all television sets with high commission for u. And it Just look at the specification HDTV, many brands have their specifications only Attrach consumers. "The video" u can see a Samsung 10,000:1 contrast ratio plasma TV loses a plasma TV Panasonic Veria (3000:1) when testing your specification. Serously talk, look for the brand name that the specification. The only advantage of LCD has over plasma is screen burn-immunity. However, new generations of plasma imrpoved already on this aspect. So u can almost say that LCD now has an advantage over plasma [maybe one, plasma fade color over time. However, the process is actually very slow] … even for the price. Since this year, the price of LCD been falling a lot, but still the same resolution and screen size LCD n plasma, the LCD will be much more expensive. Advantages of Plasma over LCD Contrast Ratio, gray scale (levels black), motion artifacts much smaller angle of view much more comfortable and much cheaper Conclusion. – If u prefer plasma over LCD TVs, Sony Bravia want [its 1080p LCDs are coming soon!] TXL50 or Panasonic 60 series, Toshiba Samsung WLT66 series or series R74BD [Samsung only choose this if u have a budget]. If u choose TVs over plasma TVs, LCD is one of the newest models from Pioneer or Panasonic PV500, PX60 and PX600 series. Panasonic always deals with motion artifacts very well and its black levels are unbeatable. Some even have a built-in MP4 recorder so u can save money on a DVD recorder. If u could wait a little longer, it would better. Since last month, Plasma / LCD TVs resolution of 1920×1080 was entering the market. Marks top league Plasma Panasonic and Pioneer are having their HDTV 1080p coming very soon [maybe a week or more 2]. Pioneer can cost much more than the Panasonic, and its black levels and motion handling are not as good as Panasonic, but its sharpness is definitely better to Panasonic. Thus, it is really up to their individual decide that HDTV is much better. Here are some selected reviews Plasma / LCD TVs, http://www.homecinemachoice.com/whatvideo/ If u want to see more, I think u have to buy your magazine. =) Good luck in choosing your TV!
