plasma tv half life
LCD TV or plasma?

I am looking ot buy a new TV, but I'm torn between getting an LCD or a plasma TV. The quality of both pitcure are equal. I do not like ggraininessof an LCD, but I do not like the half-life or plasma. Both sets are 1080P. I play some video games in my Nintendo Wii and I heard that plasmas tend to burn in, but the plasma also has a response time faster. Can anyone help me here? The two TV, I am not look at both Panasonics. Plasma is the TH42PZ80 and the LCD is TC37LZ85. From now on I will be using the set in my basement, but may be moving into an apartment as soon as lighting conditions may vary.

Well, first, the half-life of plasma current is similar to the LCD. 60,000 hours for both. I to decide based on the lighting conditions in your room. Plasmas really excel in situations of lower light, because of its ability to produce a black, deep and rich. Furthermore, plasma TVs have problems because of the brightness of its glass front panel. A set of plasma will make your movie and best experience of watching sports, because of the fast update rate, and the 900 lines of movement that you usually see. In an LCD with 120hz processing as much as you can is between 6-700. LCD will outperform in a bright room with a lot of windows or lights. LCDs are brighter than plasma sets, but keep in mind that in a room pitch dark, the brightness can become tiring to the eye. Plasma, as I said, look better in a dark room because of its image quality hot. I would not be worried with burn-in on a plasma, most major manufacturers have implemented anti-burn-in features such as probes pixel. For the most part, you have to try to get burn-in on your TV. I would go with the plasma, in this case. Panasonic Plasmas are superior quality products.
