My monitor stopped working?
My monitor (Gateway FPD2185W TFT LCD) keeps turning off everytime i have the plug-in. contribute to the good 2-3 minutes and will flash (I know that electricity is still going on, because the power switch has a light), but it shuts down by itself as a fuse. After I put it to shut down in less than 10 seconds. I'm going to buy me a new monitor … What are your suggestions, what should I buy? and also, I buy a computer monitor or a Plasma TV (small), but has a "VGA" to connect my CPU .. which is better? buy a new monitor or a tv to run CPU .. I think my monitor is discarded life … I'm not sure what it is but it's what I keep hearing .. let me know sholud I get or not, please let me know if you get a TV Plasma better than getting a computer monitor. Do not use a Plasma TV as a monitor. If you leave a static image on a plasma TV, for a period of time, the image will be burned on the screen. LCD HDTVs work much better as computer monitors. I'm using a 52 "LCD HDTV as a monitor, and is connected to my computer with a DVI-to-HDMI cable (is better than VGA, but requires a computer with a DVI port). If you come to become same behavior when connected to another computer, then there is something wrong with your monitor or cable (try a different cable to see if the cable is defective). If it does not show that same behavior on another computer, something is wrong with your computer.
