When people think of using digital signage, many think they can just go to your local Best Buy and buy an LCD to be used as a digital sign.Â
Believe when I say, not all LCD monitors are made the same!
Displays are used for commercial digital signage out of home, these are designed for prolonged use in comparison with a screen in someone's home. The life expectancy of a trade show is much more than an exhibition of consumer.
This is because the manufacturers think that the TV in the house is only a few hours a day, compared with a minimum of 12 hours per day for a display digital signage.
Another restriction of the use of a television consumer is that the guarantee is much more restricted and usually void must be used for a application. Now, in addition to commercial, security and life, commercial screens can be oriented in portrait or landscape display as a consumer can not.
Trade shows can be connected to a computer, Wi-Fi and comes with serial ports, and VGA connectors while the display of the consumer is limited to DVD's and game consoles only.

Here you have to think how it will be mounted this beast £ 100 on your wall.
