Can anyone tell me if the 50 "plasma on the home page of fingerlings is a good deal? Do plasmas still last only 5YR
My tv 50 "regular is breaking, I'm looking for something around the same size, but I want durability and the most bang for my buck. Please help.
If you want more than 50 inches you will have to go plasma or rear projection LCD. I like the Samsung DLP rear projection slim, its 1080p, great if you have PS3 or HD DVD, it does take a little more room, but not so bad. If you want to go thinner on what size the only option you have is plasma. Panasonic is the king of the plasma, the new LG and Samsung plasma are good too. You can usually get 10% discount for Circuit City, and it was the sale price, so you could get close to the range of $ 1500-1700 for good plasma. The Vizio is ok, if you're looking for something cheap. The agreement Fry's is ok, but doesn't Phillips make a great TV too. If you will go with a tv good like that could very well go Vizio and get the lowest possible price, you could probably find one for $ 1200-1300. If you can go a little lower, Westinghouse makes a 46-inch 1080p LCD thats a good deal. Output slickdeals.net, just do research in the Forum section for good deals.
