I'm thinking of buying a 50 "1080p Plasma or LCD wall mount 13 'of a floor to ceiling mirrored wall.?
My research concludes that the plasma is still superior format to a better price, but I'm concerned about reflections from the mirror showing the screen when playing. The room is in shade all day, but usually watch the night anyway. Which way should I go? If plasma, I believe Panasonic is the best. Any specific comments on certain models would be appreciated. Thank you!
You may want to reconsider getting a plasma. If you notice there are companies doing substantially less plasma TVs these days. There is good reason it. Although plasma is less expensive and is still dealing with black better, the light source plasma is non-renewable. Over time all televisions lose some of its brightness. In LCDs lamps can be replaced, the plasma is lost forever. Plasmas are also heavier and more likely to have "burned pixels" due to the mechanism by which it provides light. Vendors store plasma TVs push because the probability that you will have to replace the TV is bigger. Looking more closely at the issue. I think you will see more evidence of what I mean.
