Do you have an LCD or Plasma you found will not work with HD? Resolution wrong connectors or poor
Hi I'm a journalist technology with the BBC. I'm looking for someone who has bought and LCD or Plasma, only to discover later that will not work with high definition. Maybe he has the right connectors, maybe people in the store said it was HD ready and it does not. It is compatible with an HD 'TVs that really do not have enough lines to True HD display. I know someone who bought a Philips LCD TV HD ready, just before the World Cup, and the first annoying thing might as well not say HD ready in front. My friend has Sky HD and Sky box will not connect to the TV. Apparently Philips TV has DVI, while the Sky box has HDMI connectors, and the two never meet! My friend spoke with Philips about this, and they recommended that some analog cable Convert DVI to HDMI, but the quality is really poor, as expected through a annalogia cable. Comet – which bought the TV from, could only apologize, but apparently it was any the wiser about this problem and, although the HD Ready HD ready, but were not yet prepared to completely replace the TV said they no longer sell TV with DVI (which Philips used to be the main culprit). Unfortunately, your TV is HD ready as ready as my old Sony Trinitron!
