Pioneer Kuro 42 "Plasma TV – Is it any good? HD Ready or Full HD?
I replace my tube of 10 years of age with a new plan for high-definition TV, preferably a plasma! The salesman showed me the Pioneer Kuro 42 "! Seems really nice, but I'm not sure weather it is an HDTV" true "or not, because the resolution is only 1024×768? Should I go with HD Ready, or get a Full HD TV? I use it to play PS3, watching DVDs, Blurays and regular TV channels, of course! Thanks for your help.
I suggest you pick up the latest copy of Consumer Reports. They make a whole section analysis on the flat screen. Different models within the same brand are of different quality. Consumer Reports gives the best out there, and if you're going to spend much, you should get your money's worth. Pioneer was considered a good brand, but as I said, different models differ in quality. The 1020i or 1020p is called "full HD, but it is 720p HD. There's just more pixels in 1020, which gives a sharper image.
