1. Make sure you know the market price … LCD and plasma sets are both lower in cost than ever now. Once you have a price range in mind, stick to it. That way, you will never regret spending too late!

6. As a general rule, go to the image quality on screen size. Is it really possible to have a TV with an LCD screen that is too big for your room! You not want to find yourself trapped by a screen that hurts the eyes to see. You should be able to comfortably sit 10 feet away and still have a great experience display.
7. 1080p LCD TV or set a 1920 x 1080 will offer some of the most bang for your buck, with excellent image quality and definition excellent. Always go for the excellent image quality as a priority and do not forget to set the size of the television and resources for its intended use by example, a laptop to the room or a large screen for video games.
8. Check the reliability rating of any flat panel LCD TV before buy it. You can do this by looking at the sites online that show assessments of experts and consumers as well as checking the views of each model before you commit to buy anything.
9. Most of these LCD TV models come with extended warranty for additional fees, but the reliability of these is good enough to make this strictly optional. Your insurance policy may cover any accidental damage to home, then you must decide whether an extended warranty is for you.
10. The last and final tip may seem a little obvious, but it is something that many of us neglect to do! Its really important that you follow the manufacturers guide and take the car of your LCD TV as provided in the manual, that will not only help prolong the life of your new LCD model, but will also help guarantee water should be tight the unthinkable happens and your break down.
