How do I change the Upper & Lower Drivers on my 42 inch LG Plasma Model # RU-42PX11?
My plasma TV plays for about 45 minutes, then flashes to a black screen, then back to the image. The image is fine without lines, and very clear. A boy repair TV said that I needed to replace the upper and lower control ($ 230 parts). The center also said sevice LG told me to replace the main driver Y ($ 280 part), but for now I only have enough for the driver's upper and lower: $ 250.00.
Well, maybe those plates … BUT …. The flashing part that makes me think to reconnect the ribbon cables FIRST …. I suspect that TV technology has made it, right?
